As the year closes I wish everyone a bright, healthy and wonderful 2016. My family and I are off on another adventure, or as I call it - a project. Beginning in January our four children will attend TIDE Academy in Tamarindo, Costa Rica for a semester. They will be instructed in both English and Spanish. Their course load will be heavy, as they have to continue with their French courses from Quebec.
This journey and our project has been a thought of mine for a very long time. I have always been a strong advocate for exchanges, students going abroad, and family sabbaticals.
We had a small window of opportunity with four children attending four different schools and we took it. They are excited, yet hesitant to go. The unknown is scary for anyone but they are troopers and I am hopeful they will extract everything they can out of it.
Wish us luck and may you all have the best year ever!
