An unwanted visitor

Since the beginning of April an unwanted visitor has been roaming the rooms in my house.  I have nicknamed this immortal bug, Gastro Gus.   He shows his ugly head every few days.  He has personally disturbed my two sons and my father.  He arrives very, very early in the morning bringing cramps, diarrhea and vomiting.  He stays for about three hours and then mysteriously disappears for a few days.

I am beside myself with frustration.  I cannot catch him.  I am unsuccessful in ridding him from my home.  I have tirelessly researched him to possibly identify him.  I had heard of such a creature from others, giving rise to a concern that he may be of the contagious type.  Whatever.  I know only one thing.  I am on a mission to capture and destroy.  I am not an advocate of strong chemicals in my house, nor am I a Clorox pusher, but I need to vacate the visitor and I need to do it now.  I thought opening windows and letting fresh air in would deter him.  I administered Gravol to keep him at bay.  Nothing is working!

It is now 3:30am and I am running back and
forth from the living room to the Quebec
room tending to my two sons, the latest targets of Gus.  Another day without school, another three loads of laundry.  Where is he??????????

I am running low on patience and paper towels.  Can anyone shed some light on this?  Has Gastro Gus been in your home, school or office?  Is there a way to disarm Gus, to obliterate him, or even just divert him from MY house?

The coffee pot is on. The boys are resting.  I am tired.  I am desperately seeking advice. This is not a plea for pity.  I would appreciate any known remedies.  And, I would just about pay anything to have Gastro Gus find another haunt to rest his sorry sack of sickness.
